Sourdough Starter

This is the sourdough starter we rely on for all our baking here at Breadtopia. It's a robust wild yeast strain that has been with us for years, lovingly fed and dried to ensure a long shelf life.

For thousands of years, sourdough starter has been used to healthily and naturally leaven bread. Containing naturally occurring yeast and friendly Lactobacillus bacteria, sourdough starter also adds its own unique flavor profile to baked goods. Plus it's good for your gut.
