Rhum Depaz Port Cask

Depaz Port Cask Finish aged rhum is matured for at least eight years in specially selected small oak casks. It is then finished for eleven months in Port casks which give it rich aromas of fig and stewed fruits.

Depez is unquestionably the finest distillery in Martinique, full of history and nestled on the slopes of Mount Pelle. The volcanic lands offers unrivaled fertility and richness for sugar canes and the quality of sugar cane really shines through in the taste and quality of all Depaz rums.  

On the nose soft notes of oak are mixed with vanilla, chocolate and fresh fruit. The palate is soft, oak is ever present. Notes of matured port combine with hazelnut, dried fruits and chocolate.
