Description:

Kaleidoscope Paints Emulsion provides economical performance for interior brick, concrete and cement plaster/ rendered walls and ceilings. Also suitable for INTERIOR USE on appropriately primed building boards (i.e. hardboard, chipboard, gypsum board etc.), wood and metal surfaces.

General Surface Preparation: New and Unpainted: Ensure surface is dry and cleaned free of all dust, dirt, oil, grease, mortar splashes, moss, algae and other debris. Masonry: Poured concrete must be allowed to cure for at least 60 days, while cement plaster/rendering should be 30 days. Fill any defects with appropriate masonry filler. Wood & Building Boards: Fill any crevices, cracks, holes etc. with Kaleidoscope Linseed Oil Putty. Then sand with abrasive paper to a smooth finish. Metal: Clean to Hand Tool finish SSPC-SP-2 or Power Tool finish SSPC-SP-3. Previously Painted: Remove any loose, flaking, peeling and semi-adherent paint to obtain a clean, firm, sound surface. Fill surface defects and treat as for New & Unpainted. Treatment for Algae & Fungus Infection: Use water to wash affected areas thoroughly. Dilute 1 part Domestic Bleach with 1 part water and apply liberally, by brush or sponge to the areas. Follow with one application of Kaleidoscope Sterilizing Solution and allow to dry overnight.
