Glen Moray 10 Years Old Chardonnay Cask

This 10 year-old whisky from Glen Moray has interestingly been matured entirely in ex-chardonnay casks.

The nose is incredibly enticing, mint chocolate, buttery barley, honey and vanilla. On the palate expect a delightful combination of orange and butter (continued from the nose, almost like orange shortbread. Notes of grapes and a small hint of spice make an appearance. The finish is smooth and full of fruit, again the buttery profile from the wine casks makes a well-timed and welcomed appearance.
