C. Kent Joyce Pipe Carved Wideshank Cutty with Ivorite

Distinctly detailed, this carved and rusticated finished briar from C. Kent Joyce features a one of a kind shape and interesting feel.  Saddled with an insert of synthetic ivory, this stylized variation of the billiard features a good sized chamber and an extremely visually balanced presentation.  More importantly, this wide shank puffer may not be a showcase of briar's natural beauty like so much of Kent's work, but is engineered marvelously well with a deep slot in the stem and a perfectly smooth draw.  Meticulous and intentional, this very comfortable smoker doesn't have a bowl coat, and given it's thick proportions, doesn't need one.
