BenRiach 6 Year Old (That Boutique-y Whisky Company)

This nutty and sweet Speyside expression spent 6 years at the BenRiach distillery before being bottled by That Boutique-y Whisky Company. The bottle photo relates to the original meaning of BenRiach which is "Monkey Shoulder".

The nose is a real mix. Cedarwood, oak, sugar, cashew, lemon drizzle cake. The palate is shortbread, caramel, hazelnut tart with cream, ginger cake and salt. Very very nice! The finish is toffee, cream and slightly smoked oak.

That Boutique-y Whisky Company is an independent bottler, you can expect single malts, single grains and bourbons from all from renowned distilleries. They also produce world-renowned blended whiskies and blended malts. These whiskies are adorned with cultish graphic novel-style labels
